Master of Divinity (Ordination Track)
The Master of Divinity (Ordination Track) is a professional degree program designed to develop the academic, spiritual and pastoral skills necessary for ministerial leadership in the Church. The program is available to men preparing for ordination to the Roman Catholic priesthood.
Candidates for the Roman Catholic priesthood must complete a 126-hour program that conforms to the Program of Priestly Formation established by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. Students in this program must have the approval of their Bishop or religious superior.
Master of Divinity (Non-Ordination Track)
The Master of Divinity (Non-Ordination Track) is a professional degree program designed to develop the academic and pastoral skills necessary for ministerial leadership. The program is available to students preparing for lay ecclesial ministry in the Church or pastoral leadership in Catholic or other Christian denominations. Candidates must complete a 90-hour program that provides a solid academic foundation, in combination with supervised pastoral practice.
