The Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies (MAPS) at the University of St. Thomas prepares you for ordination into the permanent diaconate, in addition to parish opportunities in areas such as religious education and youth and social ministry. Since 2013, 100% of graduates were ordained to the permanent diaconate.

The MAPS degree is a 36-hour professional degree program oriented toward persons who are or who desire to be involved in full-time professional pastoral ministry. All MAPS courses are conveniently offered in a variety of convenient times and venues.
